The Survey Assistant is required to assist the Party Chief (crew leader) with measurements, instruments, calculations and more. This position is responsible for operating hand held equipment such as Total Stations, Levels, Data Collectors, etc. Please note that this position takes place out-of-doors and demands a certain degree of physical strength as you must carry equipment to and from each site. Survey Assistants work out of all our offices; there are current vacancies in our Whitby, Thunder Bay and Ottawa offices.
